How to Brew the Perfect Cup
Six unhurried steps to coax the very best from your teabag.

Fresh, cold water
Fill the kettle with freshly drawn cold water — the oxygen brings the teabag to life.

Warm the cup
Swirl a splash of just-boiled water round your mug, then tip it away. A warm cup keeps the brew hot.

One bag per cup
Drop a single teabag into your mug — no need to double up.

Right temperature
Black tea 95–100°C · Green 70–80°C · Herbal & rooibos 100°C. Take it off the boil for delicate blends.

Brew with patience
Black 3–5 min · Green 2–3 min · Herbal 5–7 min. Give the bag a gentle press, but no vigorous squeezing.

Milk, sugar, sorted
Lift out the bag, then add a splash of milk or a spoon of sugar to taste. A proper cuppa — job done.
